Pharmacia rollouts out PharmaDesktop to entire Outcomes organization

The key heads of Pharmacia’s Outcomes Research departments from around the world met in London, U.K. to implement the PharmaDesktop collaboration environment with all of their teams worldwide. The tailored version of PharmaDesktop Executive called E-HUB (Economic Hub) was released to their teams in North America, Europe and Japan to help improve inter-department communication, teamwork, and global communication.

This increases the commitment that Pharmacia has made to the current PharmaDesktop platform. Currently 2 departments, Global and US, are using the management toolbox version of PD Manager for Outcomes Research (Outcomes Center). E-HUB seamlessly communicates with OutcomesCenter further enhancing utilization of the products.

The theme for the meetings was "Communication, Collaboration and Connectivity for our global Outcomes Research organization and the tools to help us achieve this". Allen Lising, from Dymaxium's PharmaDesktop division and Tom Burke, from Pharmacia's Global Applied Health Outcomes group were the co-presenters for the meetings.
